A great way to ensure more people attend your event or opening is to book a celebrity. You can also maximise the impact of their appearance by advertising their attendance.

You can target the market you want to attract by booking a celebrity to match your audience demographic.

How much does it cost though? Well that's where we can help, every celebrity varies their fee according to what is required of them, how long they will be at your event or opening, location etc.

You may have a celebrity in mind...great! Be warned though some celebrities are tied up already with major brands and may not be permitted to be associated to your brand.

Get savvy and get more work!

TOP TIPS FOR ACTS

1. Be the best at what you do, agents will always promote the best act known to them.
2. If an agent calls you …call them back straight away or within 2 hours. We like to get back to clients the same day with suggestions of which artists are available. If you don’t call us, your act will not be put forward…and you could miss out.
3. Include your contact number on every email… you’d be surprised how many acts don’t include their phone number ever!
4. Promo material …get your act together and make sure you have a great photo, good clip of you performing on You Tube. We like acts we promote to give us an agent friendly link without your name and contact number on the clip.
5. Send a five line biog which includes what type of act you are, what is brilliant about your act, a couple of name drop gigs, and the length of your performance.
6. Get insured…most agents require an act to have Public Liability Insurance these days, check out if you’re insured.
7. Tell the agent what your rates are for an average gig, we have some acts which are £15k+ and some clients may not have the budget!
8. Tell us about your technical requirements…space required, ceiling height, if you require time to set/strike props etc. This helps us inform our clients with a full brief of each act straight away.
9. Make it easy for agents …send all this information on one email. If we receive a professionally written email (a short one!) we are much more likely to look at it and read it all. So be clear, concise and get noticed!
